Crown the Lost - Cold Pestilence Hope
Formed in 2005 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania it took the band only a year to release the stunning debut “Reverence Dies Within”. This album was recorded, produced, released and promoted completely by the musicians on their own. Filled with songs which are a great mix between Thrash and Power Metal the band did not only get great reviews, but also label-offers.
As a result Crown The Lost got signed to Cruz Del Sur-Music and the follow up was released in 2009. This one, “Blind Failth Loyalty”, got great reviews all over the world again (for example 8/10 in german Rock Hard-mag), but due to line up-problems the band didn't really get the chance to promote the album.
Nevertheless Crown The Lost hit the studio in the first half of 2010 and recorded “Cold Pestilent Hope” with a more or less completely renewed line up. Three guys – including the vocalist – had to be replaced shortly before the sessions and what the guys did is ... recording their by far best album!! Unfortunately Crown The Lost disbanded after the recording and they didn't manage to release the whole album through a label as a farewell to their fans. Until today!
At the end of April 2016 “Cold Pestilent Hope” is released the first time on CD and brings you the best music-mix between Thrash and Power Metal. Twelve songs – including a bonus track – and you will ask yourself why this band has never managed to grow really big!
